Mary's favorite things vol. 1

I get on weird kicks where I get really obsessed with a couple of things! Don't you? Right now here are some of mine:

These mugs from Anthropologie, for example, are one of my FAVORITE things right now.  I have two, an "M" and a "B" for my initials (and the initials of my fiance- we have the same initials, weird I know).  These mugs are THE BOMB.  They fit perfectly in you hand, they're nice and deep, and the handle is in the perfect place for your fingers. I might have found a new go-to present.

Teavana KONA POP tea-I bought this because it was INSANELY on sale at Kroger, but it is so good! It has orange blossom and pineapple and it tastes like liquid candy. I could drink it every day.

I just got a new fitbit- the fitbit Alta and I LOVE it.  I already a fan of their products-it's like the one thing I needed to exercise more was to have something to give me data about it.  The great thing about this one is it starts to vibrate if you've been sitting around on your butt for too long. AND you can switch out the bands for other ones. SUPER OBSESSED.

This ring.  I know, it's cheesy posting it here, but I've been a little obsessed lately. I'll be sitting in a meeting, and light from the window will hit it, and I'll just stare at the sparkles. I guess I'm a little like a bird in that respect, ha ha.

Asking my bridesmaids....

So I've been trying to figure out how to ask my bridesmaids...Any ideas, guys?

Also, SPOILER ALERT: I'm cheap.

What I've come down to is something along the lines of, "Can you help me tie the knot?"  I have been looking, and here are some of the options I have....

This product, from Things Remembered. is a contender, except  for at just under $30, and $10 per personalization charge, I feel the cost of the $10 per thing personalized might put me over my budget.  This is still a pretty cute option.

Both of these options are from Lauren Conrad at KHOLS, and are luckily under $10 a piece.  While I like the one on the left more than the one on the right, none of these really strike a chord with me. :(

The following are all on etsy.  I like supporting a small business, so I lean towards it. Still not sure, but just thinking.

First Post!

Welcome to my blog!

While I'm not new to blogger, I am excited that this is my FIRST blog post that isn't related to work! Pretty pumped! I have a general idea some of the things I am going to write about, but I am still not totally sure.  I'm in the process of getting married and buying a house, so I hope I don't bore you too much with those details.  

I'm really excited about where things will be headed though-I have been wanting a creative outlet, and I'm hoping this will help satisfy it.
